The Chevra Sisterhood extends a BIG THANK-YOU to BURNEY LIEBERMAN for organizing this summer concert. Burney studied voice and vocal interpretation, and has many years of experience performing major roles in Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, singing with both The Shaar Hashomayim Choir and The Chevra Choir, as well as 36 years playing major parts with The Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theater.

A BIG THANK YOU to the FRIENDS:  Yossi Milo, Music Director, piano; Sam Stein, amazing singer, performer; Istvan Lakatos, violinist extraordinaire, and SPECIAL GUESTS: the dynamic duo…Jodi Lackman and Bram Lackman, mother and son.

A BIG THANK YOU to our SURPRISE GUESTS: Our very own Cantor extraordinaire, Cantor Yossi Fleischman, and our esteemed Rabbi Asher Jacobson, who also brought humour to the evening.

The Sanctuary was full of love and energy, smiles, and audience participation. We thoroughly enjoyed the comedy and music of all the performers.

The proceeds of this event will benefit The Israel Fund at The Chevra.
