Shabbat Under the Stars 2024

Dear Friends,

This year, unlike previous years, the Shabbat Under Stars event takes on great meaning.

At a time where antisemitism is spreading, and the haters of Israel are rising up, we have the opportunity to demonstrate here in Montreal, that we will not be intimidated or cower. Instead, we will stand prouder, stronger and more united than ever before to display the love of our tradition, the light of our faith, and the beauty of Judaism.

Nothing captures that more then highlighting the one day of our week that remind us who we are and where we come from, Shabbat: the day that celebrates the beauty of life, the love of family and the purpose of our creation.

This year we will be sponsoring and honoring the Jewish students of our Montreal universities as a message of solidarity that our community stands with them and supports them.

We will also be ensuring that there will be multiple layers of security to assure that this is a safe and enjoyable event for our community and its families.

Looking forward to greeting you on June 21, 2024 and making this year’s Shabbat Under The Stars 2024 the greatest one ever.
